Barbara Venturi is a co-founder and managing partner of AMBAR Realty Group, LLC, a commercial real estate firm specializing in global tenant representation, and account management for corporations with multi-market acquisition and disposition assignments. She has been involved in various sectors of the real estate industry, including leasing, strategic planning, finance, and development, for over twenty years. Ms. Venturi's primary focus is to collaborate with multi-market corporations utilizing strategic and financial planning skills to support clients through a formal account management process. In addition, she handles transaction services for various New York State government and quasi-government agencies. Before forming her own Tenant Advocacy firm she was affiliated with CB Richard Ellis. In the Corporate Services division, she managed several multi-market accounts and successfully completed assignments in over 100 locations. Ms. Venturi's clients were both publicly traded and privately held companies. Prior to her affiliation with CB Richard Ellis, Ms.Venturi was with The Rockefeller Group, Inc. She was responsible for the daily management of the debt and investment portfolio for this real estate entity managing in excess of $600 million. Other responsibilities included the negotiation of terms and conditions with major financial institutions for credit facilities of over $1 billion, the review of legal documentation with counsel, implementation of financial software and economic forecasting, and the co-ordination of cash management systems for subsidiaries to maximize return on capital. In addition, she worked closely with the development division of the organization. Ms. Venturi has also served as an officer and account manager for JP Morgan and the Bank of America, traveling extensively on each coast to cover Fortune 1000 companies in all sectors of business. Her responsibilities included reviewing credit status, identification of clients' needs, and cross-selling and implementation of bank services. Ms. Venturi received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Bucknell University and a Masters of Business Administration from Hofstra University. She is a member of the national Women Presidents' Organization and serves on various Westchester County Community Boards including the Women's Enterprise Development Center of Westchester County and the YMCA of White Plains. Amy's thorough and extensive experience in negotiating complex real estate transactions and vast knowledge of the markets covered translates to achieving the best deal terms for her clients. Focusing exclusively on tenant representation, she works closely with each operating division impacted in the transaction to identify the client's needs and objectives, providing information on various business and tax incentives, zoning issues and changes and offering strategic space solutions. Her success is demonstrated by the long term relationships cultivated. Ms. Lerner's most recent experience was with CP Richard Ellis, Inc. as an office leasing specialist in the New York/Connecticut Metropolitan Area. During her six year tenure, Ms. Lerner assisted on her teams' corporate multi-market assignments while continuing to service her clients in the New York Metropolitan Area. Prior to joining CB, Ms. Lerner spent over ten years at the Helmsley Corporation and the regional based Sutton & Edwards firm serving as a tenant representative for companies headquartered in downtown Manhattan. Ms. Lerner's major projects have included acquisitions and dispositions for financial/brokerage firms, insurance companies and the technology industries. The scope of her work included multi-market relocations, lease auditing, strategic planning, the development and implementation of occupancy cost reduction strategies through surrender of leaseholds, consolidations and advanced lease renewals. She has successfully completed over 420 lease transactions totaling more than 2,750,000 square feet with aggregate rent commitments in excess of $450,000,000. Ms. Lerner eared a Bacheor of Arts in Communications from the University of Maryland with a secondary focus on Business Management. She is active in BOMA, Westchester County Board of Realtors-Commercial Division, and the United Jewish Association. She holds real estate brokers licenses in New York and Connecticut. | |
