Debra Stracke Anderson is president and CEO of Sloan Street Advisors, Inc ., an international commercial real estate firm based in the Washington DC area. The company provides transactional representation, brokerage and consulting services for corporate tenants and buyers of commercial properties in the District of Columbia and its suburbs, in addition to representing clients on an international basis. Ms. Anderson founded the firm in March, 2000 following a nearly 20 year career as an executive with regional and international commercial real estate organizations. Her company represents clients ranging from private investors and entrepreneurial entities to Fortune 500 companies in their real estate matters.

Ms. Anderson's firm serves as the Washington DC affiliate for the International Tenant Representative Alliance (ITRA), the largest organization devoted exclusively to tenant/buyer representation. With its service across North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia and the Pacific Rim, ITRA is active in more than 65 U.S. and overseas markets, providing clients with principal-level representation worldwide. Ms. Anderson serves on the ITRA board of directors.

Ms. Anderson's previous positions included tenures as Director of Commercial Leasing for Gates, Hudson & Associates, Regional Vice President of Leasing and Marketing for COMPASS Management and Leasing and Managing Director of Asset Services for Insignia/ESG, culminating with the founding of her company. She holds principal real estate broker licenses in the District of Columbia, Virginia and Maryland and has earned both the SIOR and CCIM industry designations.

Ms. Anderson is a member of the Greater Washington Commercial Association of Realtors and the Society of Industrial and Office Real Estate and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member of the CCIM Institute.   She received a three-year appointment to the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties' national Investment Management Forum and is a frequent author on industry matters for publications such as the Washington Business Journal , Business Properties and CCIM Magazine . Ms. Anderson is a charter member of Success in the City, a network of C-suite businesswomen in Washington DC, and serves on the board of directors for Stop Child Abuse Now (SCAN).
