Wayne Timura brings a unique blend of technical and business leadership experience to ITRA gained from over thirty years of national and international experience in commercial real estate, finance, and facility design, construction and operation.

Wayne specializes in advising and representing corporate owner-user and tenants with their real estate and development projects.  He provides the leadership to manage the complex details of property search, evaluation, selection, and acquisition, government approvals and entitlements, and financing, as well as the building design and construction phases of a project.  Wayne and his team work to deliver value-added services to achieve cost effective and appropriate solutions to totally satisfy clients' needs.

Prior to becoming the founding principal of ITRA / Commercial Real Estate and Next Level Development in Colorado Springs, Wayne was Director of Corporate Real Estate and Development for Quantum Corporation.  Previously he was the Senior Manager for European Real Estate and Construction in Geneva, Switzerland for Digital Equipment Corporation and was a Construction Manager for Kraft Foods.  Through these experiences, he learned to develop business-integrated location strategies and real estate action plans that kept pace with and responded to the ever-changing and growing requirements of major corporations.

Community service and professional leadership have always been high priorities for Wayne.  He is currently on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Springs Downtown Partnership, Inc., and served two years on the Colorado College Business and Community Alliance Board.  He is also a member of the Greater Colorado Springs Economic Development Corporation and is their representative on the Colorado Springs Land Use Review Advisory Board.  He is currently a vice-chair of the El Paso County's Zoning Board of Adjustment and is also on a newly created planning commission for the City Downtown district.

Wayne is a member of the Pikes Peak Association of Realtors and the Realtor Commercial Industrial Society.  He was a vice president for a number of terms with the Rocky Mountain Chapter of Core Net Global, an international professional organization for corporate real estate executives.  He was Vice President of the Boston Area Chapter of IFMA, an international professional facilities management organization, and was the founding member and chair of the R&D/Hi-Tech Industry Council. He was also co-chair of the Public Relations Committee.  He also achieved the Certified Facility Manager designation.  Wayne was a founding member and was co-chair of the Design Review Board for the town of Hopkinton, Massachusetts.

Wayne has an MS Degree in Engineering and Management and a BS Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Vermont.  Wayne is a licensed real estate broker, a registered Professional Engineer and a licensed Class A1 general contractor through the International Code Council examination.
